Owen, Jamie & Andy are the new divisional champions.

Last Wednesday the Dorset Table Tennis Centre at Grange Schoolttr

Division 1, ten for the Championship Division and three for the

In the Semi-finals Max Bannon beat Arthur Lomax and Owen White beat Michal Medrek. That meant that Max Bannon had to play Owen White in the final to find out who would be the new champion of Division 1. In the end Owen was too strong for Max which means that Owen White is the new Champion and Max Bannon the runner-up. In the Consolation round of Division 1 six players entered the next stage. These were divided into two groups with the winners playing the final. Group A was won by James Hamilton, Sam Gregson came second and Aidan Blay came third. Group B was won by Mieszko Biela, George Rice came second and Harvey Stanton came third. This meant that the final was played between James Hamilton and Mieszko Biela. In the end James beat Mieszko.

The players in the Championship Division were divided into three groups with the top two progressing into the next stage and the bottom one or two going into a consolation round. Group 1 was won by Grant Dimond, Jake Warry came second, Will Funnell came third and Blake Trowbridge came fourth. Group 2 was won by Jamie Saunders, Ron Danville came second and Joe Sparks came third. Group 3 was won by Ian Tipsana, Stuart Burton came second and Dean Wedderburn came third. In the next round the six players were divided into two groups with the winner playing in the final. Group A was won by Ian Tipsana, Jake Warry came second and Ron Danville came third. Group B was won by Jamie Saunders, Grant Dimond came second and Stuart Burton came third. That meant that Ian Tipsana had to play Jamie Saunders in the final. This match was a close call with Ian winning the first game but that Jamie came back and beat in the end Ian to become the new Champion of the Championship Division. In the consolation round the four players played each other. In the end Blake Trowbridge came first, Will Funnell came second, Dean Wedderburn came third and Joe Sparks came fourth.

Unfortunately only three players turned up to play out the champion of the Premier Division. These players played each other with the final result that Andy Tipsana came first, Gerard Redman came second and Pete White came third. Therefore, Andy Tipsana is the new Champion of the Premier Division.
