The club is always looking for new members to play competitively in the league or just for fun. We are an extremely friendly and inclusive club comprising all age groups; newcomers are most welcome, from novices to experienced players. Our main club night is on Sundays at the Dorset Table Tennis Centre and these run throughout the year commencing at 6.30 pm.
We are very proud to host the Dorset Table Tennis Academy. This is directed by lead coach Steve Foster, International Coach Rowden Fullen, England International Matt Ware and James Lewis.
A development session for boys and a separate girls session is run between 5:30pm and 7:15pm. This is followed by a high performance session between 7:15pm and 9:15pm.
Both sessions run blocks of coaching each half term with players signing up for the whole block of coaching. These sessions attract players from around Dorset. This year it has been great to incorporate the Bournemouth University team into these sessions. We have also a number of players with disabilities some of which have won medals in both world and European events.
Dorset Table Tennis Club is a friendly club run by former teachers who have been involved in community work for many years.
Club nights are on Wednesday evenings. During the league season, between October and May we host the Poole Pairs League. The pairs league welcomes teams from other local clubs and schools.
Our club was founded when we moved our playing venue from Harewood College in Bournemouth to the Grange School, Christchurch. Members range from age 8 to 80.
High Performance Sessions take place on Thursday evenings between 5pm and 7pm. These are led by Lead Coach Matt Ware. If you would like to be considered for these sessions, please speak to either Matt Ware or e-mail James Lewis at DorsetTableTennisCentre@gmail.com.
The Grange Satellite Club offers professional coaching in the first hour and then the opportunity of match play and open practice from 4:30pm.
In the New Year, other local schools are being invited to come across at 4:30pm for an inter-school league competition. A number of players from this satellite are now playing in the Dorset Table Tennis Academy on Tuesday evenings and the Pairs League on a Wednesday Evening.

This exciting new session is being delivered through an exciting new partnership between Collaborate 4 Change, Table Tennis England and Dorset Table Tennis Centre. Sessions will run between 7pm and 9pm excluding Friday 18, 25th December and 1st January.
